and so i went to the Immigration Centre to get my social visit pass renewed, for those who dont know, social visit pass is the pass needed for foreigners to stay in singapore and if your pass have expired your ass get kicked out of singapore..the immigration centre is highly popular for the crowdedness so i figured maybe i will go early..early bird catches the early just woken up worm right...so when i come up of the mrt station OMG, i wasnt the earliest bird..there were other birds and of course women being earlier birds HAHA you thought wat birds eh..anyway there was this queue formed like people were queuing up for war rations..and the building havent even open..the queue formed was like half circling half the building already and yeah the building was big...i walked and walked at 8am in the morning till i think the end of the queue..and there more people coming with faces that are asking "where's the end of this line, i want in" WHATA you mean the end of this line? there's no end to it...and so when the door open, there was a mad rush in like its free grab-all-you want money tree..i got in, but i was called for security check...have to go thru the metal detector cos i was carrying a bag full of bombs..yeah right, why would anyone want to bomb the immigration centre...there's all foreigners over there..oh yeah ok...anywya i go up to lvl 4, the visitors centre and there was OMG another queue...
i swear it, since queueing technology was invented, human have always like to queue for everything and anything...its like if u just set up a booth and a 3 km queue, it will be filled within seconds..like
a: hey there's a queue, lets go see what is it
b: i think its a 1 million dollar give away
a: maybe its one of those idol competition
at the front of the queue
c: hi, thanks for queue, you guys were queueing up for nothing, come again!
a: man that was the best queue i ever queued
b: i bet if u come earlier next time i would have get nothing first
well anyway at lvl 4 there was also queue dividers in the figure of an arrow. i am still trying to figure out wat that do..you mean without that people will just queue up in circles? heh
